application is crashing when I start it, what can I do about it?
Answer: If
one of our application is crashing, please make sure you are using the
latest version. Choose the "Check for Updates" option from within the
applications menu or by downloading the latest version directly from
this website.

download the latest version of the software and it appears to be a
currupted text file with the extension .txt, why can't I open it?
Answer: There
was a problem when downloading the file, if you hold down the control
key and click on the file and choose open with. Select the
DiskImageMounter application from the drop down to open the dmg file.

Answer: Yes, but the user
will only see scrambled meaningless text.

Most file formats has been tested sucessfully but keep the orginal
until you know that the file can be unlocked without problems.

locked files stored?

The locked files are stored in the same location as the orginal files
with the text "Locked_" add to the begining of the file name and
".enc" added to the end.

I open an archive and make changes to a file do I have to save the file
in it's original location?
Answer: Yes,
when openning and editing an archive file, be sure not to change the
default location of /tmp to ensure that your archive stores the lastest
update of the file.
Question: Why do I have to change the
file name of a file when iShrink tells me?
Answer: This
issue is caused by none apple characters being found in a filename when
creating the archive, normally this caused when downloading files from
the internet which was not created by a Mac.
